Im Back … Snuggling Like A Bear … Oh Right!

Ok! Ok! So I’ve been a gone for a while …. over a week. Doesn’t a person deserve to take a break every once in a while, without saying anything to anyone?

Geez! Its not like the world will end without me.

So is everyone looking forward to the Bears game this weekend? Hey! This is the divisional playoff! The Bears against the Panthers .. at HOME!

It’s going to be great. I’ve been looking at some stats for the game, and has been said:

“The NFC North Division champion Chicago Bears begin their quest for the club’s 10th NFL title when they host the Carolina Panthers in the NFC Divisional Playoff game. Chicago’s first foray into the playoffs since 2001, Sunday’s contest is a rematch of Week 11 when the Bears held Carolina to their second-fewest total yards of the season (238), with only 55 on the ground, in a 13-3 win at Soldier Field.

The Bears last playoff game was a 33-19 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Jan. 19, 2002 as Chicago looks for its first post-season victory since Jan. 1, 1995, a 35-18 win against the Minnesota Vikings. Chicago heads into the game after receiving the first-round bye as the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Since 1990, Chicago has a 10-7 record after their bye week despite losing each of their last four games following the annual week off. The Bears last victory after the bye week was Oct. 7, 2001 at Atlanta. Carolina comes into the game after beating the New York Giants, 23-0, on the road in the NFC Wild Card game.

The Bears are looking to even their all-time post-season record as they enter the 2005 NFC Playoffs with a 14-15 (.483) record earned in 23 post-season berths dating back to the first NFL Championship game played in — and won — by Chicago in 1933. Owning a 3-6 (.333) record in previous appearances in the NFC Divisional Playoff game, the Bears lead the 2005 playoff field with nine NFL championships.

One of a league-record 10 teams to win at least 11 games this season, the Bears became the first NFL team to record 650 regular-season victories as they ended the campaign with 657.”

Enjoy the Game! I know that I will.

I think that the final score will be: Bears 20 / Panthers 17
