Well we knew that it was coming, and they said that it was going to be like the blizzard of 1967 if not worse. They have canceled school today, Mom has worked at home; they canceled school for tomorrow. My daughter loves it.
On the news, even in Chicago, they have said “No School for the second day tomorrow.” I bet Mayor Daily is just laughing since this is his last term. The last time Mayor Daily has let his city cancel school was way back in 1999. He doesn’t let anything get in the way of a good education.
Here in Northwest Indiana, they haven’t plowed our streets since midnight last night, and we got over two feet after that. Our city is way behind. Thank goodness we got our cousin to come out and plow for us. Our snow-blower just couldn’t handle the snow we had.
